Dr. Jing Huang comes from a well-known traditional Chinese medicine family. Both of her parents are Chinese prestigious traditional Chinese physicians. Her father, a professor of lifelong achievement at Jilin Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was awarded National Famous Chinese Medicine Practitioner honorary title and passed on all his knowledge to his daughter Dr. Jing Huang.
Dr. Jing Huang received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chinese Medicine in 1995 from Changchun University of Chinese Medicine in China. She went on to obtain her Masters in 1998 at the same University. Jing Huang received her Doctorate in 2005 from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, one of the most renowned Universities in China.
Dr. Jing Huang is the author of several publications and has contributed to three books on Traditional Chinese Medicine. She began her career in 1998 working in the Internal Diseases Department, at the affiliated hospital to Changchun University, which is a highly respected hospital in Chinese Medicine. She received her Associate Professorship in 2007.
Dr. Jing Huang has been practicing acupuncture in Charlottesville since 2010.
